CHIANTI CLASSICO D.O.C.G. RISERVA
This Chianti Classico Riserva is obtained from the selection of the best grapes.
The experience gained so far has allowed the farm to identify in the oldest vineyards, planted in 1983 and 1987, the richest productions in aromatic complexity and structure, which are destined for the production of this wine.
The maceration on the peels lasts longer than the Chianti Classico one, approximately 30 days, allows to obtain a wine with a more marked body and character.
The Reserve then ages for 12-18 months in tonneaux and barriques, with a preference for the first ones, less “aggressive” on the wine. It is then assembled and aged in cement or stainless steel tanks for at least a further year.
