Amandorlato is a wine that best expresses the balance between winemaking and withering.

In fact, the Amandorlato reaches its maximum expression when the oenologist feels he has reached the meeting point between the sweet taste of the fruits of Valpolicella and the intense taste of bitter almond, extremely astringent in the mouth.

It is a warm and enveloping wine like the mild breeze that you breathe during the harvest and brings to mind emotions tied to a past that comes back to life.

AMANDORLATO Veneto Rosso Passito IGT

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections.

The nose offers an enveloping complexity of hints of black cherry and dried fruit with a finish of spices, cocoa and almond.

In the mouth it offers a great structure and elegance, notes of chocolate blend with aromatic herbs. Sweet and dry with a harmonious almond finish.

This oenological rarity (because of its rarity is an absolutely UNIQUE wine in the world) we owe to the Galtarossa family and to the whole Montecariano company, who, with passion and oenological expertise that distinguishes them, wanted to take up and carry on this challenge.

The strength of this wine is the complete and absolute harmony that the oenologist is able to reach in a precise instant and in the only one: when he perceives to have found the meeting point between the sweet taste of the fruits and the taste of the almond. The achievement of this moment must be carefully taken away after a long and close monitoring in the cellar the fermentation phase, because the time window is really very short.

The result is a great wine, which is persuasive both on the nose and in the mouth.

Great meditation wine, maybe even with a good cigar for lovers of the genre or pairing with quality chocolate.
